For any parent with a child going to Kindergarten, it is a time of excitement and anxiety. For families of children who have disabilities, it can also be confusing and nerve-wracking. Presenters will talk about transitioning from Preschool to Kindergarten. You will learn the differences between the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) and the Committee on Special Education (CSE), and strategies to work effectively with your educational team. Topics include: Individualized Education Programs (IEP), Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), and service delivery options.

Presenters: Beth Grier-Leva, LMSW, SDA, Director, Regional Early Childhood Direction Center, and Barbara Wischnowski, MS.ED., Early Childhood Specialist, Regional Early Childhood Direction Center

Please note: This series is presented via webinar, and is not broadcast in our office. To participate you must have access to a computer at another location – your home, office, or other facility.
