GRSETF presents Challenging Behavior in Schools
Presented by The Greater Rochester Special Education Task Force
Challenging behaviors can be hard to manage for both families and school personnel. All behavior has meaning and is often an attempt to meet a need. We will provide information about the root of behavior, and what strategies and processes—both informal and formal—can be applied to address these situations. We will discuss how families and schools can collaborate on these processes.
Presenters: Hailey Lehman (Regional Behavior Specialist) and Alissa Mayer (Regional Special Education Training Specialist), from the Midwest Regional Special Education Technical Assistance Support Center, along with a panel of school staff and parents who will share real-life scenarios.
