When your child turns 18, they have the legal right to make decisions for themselves. This series will explore options available for people who have disabilities so they and their families can make informed decisions about their future.

Power of Attorney

An alternative to 17A Guardianship is power of attorney. We will discuss differences between 17A Guardianship and power of attorney, and explore health care decision-making authority.
