“One-Size-Fits-All” Fits No One - Education Conference Part 1

December 02, 2021 12:30 pm until 3:30 pm
Categories: Conference

Part 1 of Starbridge's Annual Education Conference

Presenter Katie Novak, Ed.D., Founder and Executive Director of Novak Educational Consulting

Research is clear that it's not students who don’t fit our schools. It’s our systems that don’t fit students. Inclusive practices challenge education systems of the past by embracing student variability and diversity and eliminating barriers to learning. Join us to explore Universal Design for Learning (UDL), a framework for inclusive education that empowers all students to become expert learners who are purposeful & motivated, resourceful & knowledgeable, and strategic & goal-directed, regardless of their variability.

Join Starbridge and experts from Novak Educational Consulting for one or both sessions:

  • December 2nd — "One-Size-Fits-All" Fits No One
    • Focus on Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
    • Presented by Katie Novak, Ed.D.
