Ready to explore possibilities?

It’s not too soon to plan for life after high school. Join us for a 4-session series where you and your student can dream and plan and advocate for their future. Find answers to the questions that are on everyone’s minds:

  • Where can I live?
  • What are the opportunities for learning?
  • Where can I work?
  • What can I do for fun?
  • What resources can provide support?

Join us to learn more about the many programs in our community that can support your student along their journey to independence. At the end of the series, your student will have an opportunity to access funds to support their vision.

The series takes part in four ONLINE sessions - all from 6-8pm:

  • Thursday, October 13
  • Thursday, October 20
  • Thursday, October 27
  • Thursday, November 3

$20 Uber Eats voucher provided to each family for each session.

Registration is open to all students in Monroe County NY, ages 15-21, who are living at home and who have established DDRO eligibility.

Registration is required. To register, contact Maritza Cubi at 585-435-5481 or email mcubi@starbridgeinc.org

Please request special accommodations at least two weeks before the event.

For students receiving traditional OPWDD-funded services, our grant from Region 1 Developmental Disabilities Regional Office covers the cost of your participation.
