When families and CSE personnel discuss special education options for supporting student success, disputes may arise relating to identification, evaluation or educational placement. A mediator can serve as a neutral party, help the participants listen to each other’s views, and assist in developing mutually satisfactory solutions. In this webinar, Dr. Bernadette Poole-Tracy, Special Education Mediation Program Coordinator with NYS Dispute Resolution Association, will discuss why and when parents and professionals should look at doing mediation.

Presenter:  Bernadette Poole-Tracy, Ed.D.
